Activities & Nearby Attractions

The village of Brall is at best a small, reserved with only a few grocery shops, a jaunty government school and delightful mix of concrete and wooden houses peppering the landscape. Everything about Brall leads to beautiful apple orchids that the locals tend to commercially, yet they are extremely friendly settings for spending an idle day soaking the sun. Not much happens in Brall and that exactly is the village’s charm!
Situated in the cradle of the Pabbar Valley with densely covered slopes of forests and exciting, unexplored trails, the retreat offers a great starting and ending point to memorable treks.

A visit during the spring-summer season offers a chance of visiting the Pabbar River for Trout fishing and catching a few Mahseer fish. A day spent near the beautiful river has a kind of a therapeutic effect on visitors that stays with them forever. A visit to the retreat during winters offers a once in a lifetime chance of experiencing snow-capped peaks and a quietness worth falling in love with.
Exploring the village is a cultural escapade in itself. The people are extremely friendly and their innocence rubs onto you in no time. Being a village that is located in the close proximity to the border of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, an eclectic blend of culture is evident and synonymous to everything from food to attire, language to customs. There are a series of local temples to visit that may not be grand but have delightful stories associated with them.
